🌊Guest Dining for parents/grandparents opens on Monday 8/31. Please limit visits to once per week to allow seating opportunities for all families and for your child to gain independence and have social time with peers. You will need to have your photo ID ready, sign in, and wear your visitor badge at all times. You may only sit with your student due to limited seating. Thank you!
Wishing you a wonderful week ahead! Thank you for sharing your children with us!

Thank you for a wonderful 2nd day of school! Our students are doing a wonderful job of learning routines, procedures, and expectations. We are so proud of them!
As a reminder, tomorrow (Wednesday), parents/families are not permitted to come into the building or walk children to class. You should plan to have your child either ride the bus, be dropped off in a car, or if you live nearby the school, walk to school. Please do not park and walk students to the front doors.
Additionally, please take a look at the car rider map (attached) for afternoon dismissal procedures.
We released our buses nearly 15 minutes earlier today and also shaved off over 10 minutes at car rider line. All students were in vehicles by 2:52pm. Please be sure to arrive in a timely manner. Most days, we are finished with car line by no later than 2:45 once we get our routines down.
Lastly, I promise to not send you a daily update for the rest of the year! I will send something each Sunday with updates for the week ahead. I will do one more update tomorrow, Day 3, with updates/reminders and our School Advisory Council voting link. Voting will be open 8/12-8/14.
Thank you for sharing your children with us!

5th Grade Graduation Update (5/25 - 4:00pm)
Weather Procedures
GBE 5th Grade Families,
Due to projected rain in the forecast tomorrow morning and to ensure the safety of all students, we will be updating graduation procedures for our 5th grade students and families.
Students will no longer walk to or from the ceremony. Parents/guardians will need to transport their child directly to Gulf Breeze United Methodist Church and arrive no later than 8:15 a.m.
Doors will open at 8:00 a.m., and the ceremony will begin at 8:45 a.m.
Upon arrival, please sign your child in with his/her teacher.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, families may check their child out if they choose. Please be sure to check your child out with his/her teacher before leaving the venue.
If your child will be returning to school for the remainder of the day, families will need to transport them back to GBE and sign them back in.
Thank you for your flexibility and support as we work to ensure students are not walking to and from the ceremony in rainy or unsafe conditions. We look forward to celebrating our amazing 5th graders tomorrow. We hope to see you there!

Principal
