Fifth grade ACES students at Gulf Breeze Elementary have been busy preparing for the ACES Expo since the first week of school.
Over the last nine weeks, they've brainstormed product ideas that solve problems or improve existing items. After researching and developing prototypes, each student pitches their product "Shark Tank" style to the class.
Once approved, they conduct market studies, creating questionnaires and charts to gather feedback from over 100 students in just one day. With the feedback, they refine their products and launch an advertising campaign, designing flyers and creating commercials for ITV.
Students then use creative skills to build attractive storefronts from available materials. The Expo, held for a week before school, allows fifth graders to sell their products to GBE friends. The project highlights their growth, motivation, and the invaluable learning experience of creating a business. Way to go! 🐬

GBE PTA info for you Don't forget about the Fall Festival this Sunday, November 9 from 2:00- 5:00 PM on the P.E. Field! Expect inflatable bounce houses and obstacle courses, rolling video games, laser tag, a Nerf arena, carnival games, concessions, local vendors and more! This is the LAST CHANCE to win the class award for fundraising. To register-VISIT HERE. First, register your student. You must CHECK OUT first. Add the student to cart, check out now, and then enter the student's information. YOU MUST include class name to receive class credit. After registering, you can then make a donation. Our ACES expo is u underway every morning this week in the cafeteria!

Families who may qualify for free or reduced-price school meals are encouraged to apply or reapply for the program. Completing an application ensures that students continue to receive healthy meals at school and helps support important school funding.

From cheerful Post-it notes to a school-wide bandage drive for Sacred Heart Children’s Hospital, GBE students are proving that small acts of kindness can make a big impact. As Principal Monica Garcia says, “Choose Kind, Choose Gulf Breeze Elementary” — and our students are living that every day! 🎃 Spooky Bedtime Stories First graders lit up the stage with their magical fall performance, blending music, literacy, and heartwarming fun. From catchy tunes to expressive storytelling, these young stars showed off their rhythm, confidence, and teamwork. A huge shoutout to our amazing teachers and staff for making this event unforgettable! 🏅 Honor Roll Heroes We’re also thrilled to announce our First Nine-Weeks Honor Roll!
